Winter Scoring Series

The Winter Scoring Series is a high-level offensive development program designed to help players sharpen their scoring, dodging, and decision-making before the spring season. Powered by the Scoring Series system and led by Coach Ethan LaHoda, this program delivers advanced techniques, modern offensive concepts, and high-repetition training to turn players into dynamic scoring threats.

Skill & Technique Development

  • Advanced Ball Handling & Change of Direction

  • Dodging & Redodging Mechanics

  • Scoring Techniques (on-the-run, time & room, up-the-hash, step-down, etc.)

  • 2-Man & 3-Man Systems

Winter D Days

Winter D Days is a high-level defensive development program built for players who want to shut down elite offensive threats and take their defensive game to the next level before the spring season. Modeled after the Scoring Series but dedicated entirely to defense, this program blends footwork, positioning, IQ, and live competitive reps.

Winter Faceoff & Draw Training

The Winter Faceoff & Draw Training Series is a high-level program designed to build dominant faceoff and draw specialists before the spring season. Led by Coach Brian Roach (boys) and Coach Sarah Cooper (girls), this program blends elite technique, hand-speed development, advanced strategy, and high-intensity competition to give athletes a true edge at the X.

Hand Speed, Reactions & First Move

  • Lightning-fast reaction training

  • Clamp speed and timing

  • Hand separation and strike efficiency

Faceoff Mechanics (Boys) / Draw Mechanics (Girls)

  • Clamp, rake, plunger, reverse clamp, counters

  • Girls: draw stance, wrist snap, ball control, counters & redirections

  • Maintaining balance and leverage

Counter Systems & Defensive Play

  • Counter moves to disrupt dominant opponents

  • Tie-ups, defensive exits, and ground-ball battles

  • Girls: defensive draws, controlled placements, and follow-up positioning

Winter Stopper School

Winter Stopper School is a high-level goalie training program designed to sharpen fundamentals, reaction time, confidence, and leadership in the cage before the spring season. Led by Coach Joe Whitmore, one of the region’s top goalie coaches, this series gives goalies the advanced technical work and live reps needed to elevate their game.

Footwork, Arc Play & Positioning

Hand-Eye Coordination & Reaction Training
