NCLL Youth Winter Sixes 2025
This winter, experience the fastest, most exciting version of lacrosse yet, The NCLL Winter Sixes League.
Building on the momentum of our Summer Sixes, Fall Sixes, and NLL Elevation events, this league brings nonstop action, creativity, and fun in a fast-paced indoor format designed to help players elevate their game and sharpen their skills this offseason.
Open to: Boys & Girls, 1st–8th Grade
Registration: Sign up as an individual or form a team (recommended 10 players: 9 runners + 1 goalie)
Groupings: Players will be divided by age, experience, and skill level for balanced, competitive play

Welcome Clinic & Kickoff Party: Sunday, January 11
January 18th, 25th, February 1st, and 8th
– Skills session led by top NCLL coaches
– Welcome party at the Blue Sport Stable Bar & Grill
Location:
Blue Sport Stable (1 Superior Drive, Superior, CO)
Equipment:
Short sticks only (no long poles)
Helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, arm pads, and a mouthguard are required
Cost:
Individual Registration: $200 per player
League Schedule by Age Group

1st–4th Grade: 12:00–1:30 PM

5th–6th Grade: 1:30–3:00 PM

Girls (All Levels): 4:30–6:00 PM
Format & Rules

10-Minute Warm-Up / Skills Session each week led by NCLL coaches
(Themes include transition play, two-man game, spacing, off-ball movement, and more.) -
Game Play: Olympic Sixes Format — 6 players on the field (5 runners + 1 goalie)

Field Size: 70m x 36m (approx. 76yd x 39yd)

Quarter Length: Four 8-minute quarters with a 30-second shot clock

Restarts: Face-offs only at the start of each quarter; play resumes immediately after goals
